Kollo 2009 meeting

Kent and I went to Kollo information meeting in June together.






Do you now what "Kollo" is???

Kollo has been existing more than 100 years in Sweden and it is a Summer camp for children.
Giving children nature experience and the opportunity to make new friends and any kids can apply through Swedish state.
There are so many activities and camps to choose from and Kent has been to these camps for 3 years since age 9.
He has been to adventure camps once as well as taking care of small animals camp for twice.


This time, I wanted him to enjoy the sailing camp and applied and he got the place!





This time is a sailing camp for 2 weeks provided by the special boat educational institute.

2 Sailing boats with total 15 kids and 6 staffs.
Most of these leaders have gone to special boat school educations in order to become as a boat builder.
They of course know everything about boats and boat lovers.




We all went to see the boat the one he will be on board and checked inside.

Very tiny kitchen and they are going to cook all meals for 2 weeks.

She had a music education at school and told Kent that they will play music a lot on the boat.



I love this Kollo idea for kids.
This is Sweden, so low cost and high quality experience for kids.

head attached type flash light
warm clothes,
Summer clothes...etc


and as compact living as possible...
I am sure it will be a fun adventure!
